This section of the Arga once again approaches the foot of the Historical Quarter, parallel to Paseo de Ronda, from which one of the most beautiful views of the city can be admired.

The current Club de Remo de Navarra (Rowing Club of Navarre) is heir to the original Club Náutico Navarra (Nautical Club of Navarre), which was founded on the initiative of a group of lecturers and students from the University of Navarre keen on creating a rowing team similar to those found in universities abroad, such as Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard. They started of with sailing, canoeing and rowing. At the end of the Sixties, the Federación Navarra de Remo (Navarrese Rowing Federation) took over promotion of the sport. On the River Arga, rowing can only be performed in the area between the Bridge of La Rochapea and the Dam of Santa Engracia.
